Amanda Brown – Owner / Executive Wedding Planner
Amanda Brown was born and raised in Calgary, AB where she grew up with an everlasting artistic passion. Expressing her love for art in creative ways, she trained as a competitive dancer throughout her life until she graduated as a determined honor student. She spent every spare moment from her schooling practicing and training her body through her love of dance. Amanda always knew that she wanted to be a wedding and event planner so she decided to pursue her two passions by merging them with a job travelling and working abroad for Carnival Cruise Lines. It was the perfect opportunity as she worked as a professional dancer as well as part of the entertainment staff, planning and hosting events for thousands of guests and crew each week.
Amanda spent a year and a half specifically studying Wedding and Event Planning through the Sheffield School in New York City. “I wanted to learn from the absolute best there is, so I found an amazing program in New York City, the Wedding Capital of the World.” She graduated with the top marks in her school and was recognized by the school as a role model for other students who were going through the same program. Amanda Brown has assisted and planned over twenty weddings in Calgary and the Rocky Mountains. In August 2010 she opened her own company in Calgary where she is determined to provide brides with their perfect dream wedding without breaking their budget. Amanda is recognized for her excellent customer service and for her dedication to go the extra mile. She loves the creative and artistic side of wedding planning as well as working with wonderful people throughout the journey of their big day. She has an excellent relationship with vendors in the Calgary and Rocky Mountain area as her easy going and friendly personality is positive to work with. Her ability to stay calm in stressful situations leaves her clients and colleagues gratified and happy to work with her again!
On her free time Amanda now works as a dance teacher and choreographer in Canmore, AB. She loves to dance, sing, cook, hike and spend time with her friends, family and bunny in Calgary.
Brittany Rondeau – Head Wedding Planner
Brittany Rondeau is a small city girl with big city dreams! Born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan Brittany later moved to Calgary, Alberta in pursuit of her post secondary education. After working as a Registered Dental Assistant as well as an Executive Assistant for an Oil and Gas Firm in downtown Calgary, Brittany finally decided it was time to pursue her dream as a Wedding and Event Planner. Many people talk about their dream career, but few actually have the determination and drive to go after what they truly want in life. Her devotion to excellence in her personal life is also transferrable to her professional life – her commitment to all of her clients is her guarantee that your event will be fun-filled and hassle-free.
Brittany is a Certified Wedding Planner through The Wedding Planners Institute of Canada and is currently enrolled in and attending the Event Management Extension Certificate, at Mount Royal University. As well, Brittany is a free lance make-up artist who has provided this service for numerous professional fitness and fashion photo shoots around Alberta.
From a very young age Brittany has always loved the romance, dedication and creativity that‘s involved in planning weddings and special events. Brittany is a perfectionist, extremely artistic, and meticulously organized. These are only a few of the exceptional qualities Brittany will demonstrate when planning your big day! One of her favorite things about planning a wedding is her ability to incorporate the personal elements that make each and every couple special and unique. Brittany truly loves making others happy on their special day, and it is her dedication to you and making your dreams come true that will be the main reason why you will love working with her.
In her spare time Brittany enjoys scrapbooking, spending quality time with her loved ones, soaking up the summer sun, traveling, and finding new places to dine. She is also able to create personalized scrapbook pages and vision boards for her clients wedding or event, showing her clients various inspirations that they can expect on their special day. Brittany is a lover of all things sparkly, the color purple, animals, her mother’s baking, and French fries!
Caitlin Deegan – Wedding Planner
Caitlin had a passion for weddings at a young age. She was mesmerized with the elegance and sparkle of weddings dresses; she then quickly turned her attention to the detail and beauty of a wedding overall. After High school Caitlin studied Event Management at Mount Royal University and volunteered with a variety of event companies and well known local wedding planners to get the experience she needed to start her career. She dreamed of becoming a wedding planner and worked hard to make that dream come true. Caitlin’s positive energy and organization skills create a relaxing planning process between her and her clients. Her excellent communication skills allow her to work with vendors and clients with ease to create a stress free environment. Caitlin has an excellent eye for design and loves the design aspect of wedding planning. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with friends, loved ones and using her artistic ability in creative ways.
